About the team
Sadly, following a number of years of operating an open age women's team, we are not operating a team in a league at this time. We do however remain hopeful, that sufficient female players in our area will emerge once again, that would like to participate in women's football with Skegness Town AFC.
The club always welcomes any expressions of interest from people that are passionate about the female game and would like to speak to us about resurrecting a women's team. With a view to entering a team for future seasons. In the meantime, if a suitable candidate steps forward to facilitate women's football, there is no reason why open age women's football training and enjoyment sessions cannot re-commence, in addition to playing ad-hoc friendly fixtures once sufficient players are onboard.
