Vacancies for Hospitality Staff

You may not be aware, but the Skegness Town Football Club has always been run entirely by members on a voluntary basis. Committee members, friends, family, and supporters all lend a hand to help run the club behind the scenes, and not just on Match days.

Our football club has outstanding facilities, it's a fantastic place for Visiters, Supporters, Players, and a Community of people who use the venue. It is all looked after by a valued and dedicated group of volunteers, who enjoy working together and being proud of the football club and the work they do for it.

We are always looking for more people to help, even if you can only give one or two hours a week we will make sure your time and skills are put to good use. We understand how precious time can be and won't pressure you into taking on more than you can manage. Just make contact and we will help find a role in the team that suits you.

Helping out is a great way to get to know people and contribute to the community, you don't necessarily need to know anything about football.

We are currently looking for two match day roles to be filled.
Both are really important to the club and will require you to be available on Saturday Afternoons, to attend all 1st Team Football matches when at home. The roles are not limited to 1st Team matches, you will be welcome to join us as often as you are available. Skegness Town now has four adult teams and also a Junior Football Club, so the venue is busy with football and other activities, always needing volunteers to keep making the experience great for everyone.

Our Bar & Grill is central to making money for the club, a very important source of income to balance out the expenses of maintaining such a fantastic football ground. Volunteer bar staff are always welcome additions to the team, if you have experience with bar work and would like to join the team, please get in touch.

We are also looking for a Kitchen Chef, experienced in creating quality food, and keeping good hygienic standards. Up to forty hungry Players, Coaches, Managers, and Officials come into the Bar & Grill after a match to enjoy the hospitality. It is our aim to deliver a hot, delicious, and healthy meal to them on a tight budget. The Kitchen Chef will also be very active in supervising the Kitchen, helping to deliver hot and cold snacks for the football supporters.

The Kitchen Chef role is ideal for someone with kitchen qualifications, or someone in college training to get them, needing work experience. With a lot of connections to the local businesses, volunteers may find opportunities to advance in careers, get back into kitchen work, or simply gain confidence in their ability to lead a team and deliver quality in a busy environment.
