Over the weekend of 16th and 17th July 2022, Hykeham Tigers FC hosted over 4000 people at Fen Lane Playing fields in North Hykeham. Skegness Town JFC U14's (of 2022/23) went to compete again as they split their squad into Whites / Reds to compete in both U13 (of 2021/22) tournament leagues.

U14 Coach, Dave Booth told us, "Couldn't be any prouder of these boys"

Dave is pictured here with his son, who managed an amazing individual performance, scoring 14 out of the 21 goals, for the Red Team. Perhaps too early to put into writing, but this lad could be a star of the future. Just another few seasons of juniors and we will hopefully see another homegrown Skegness Town player on at the Vertigo.

Head Coach of the JFC, Dale Houlston said, "It is very pleasing to see the boys enjoy themselves and it's always nice to see them win silverware. We are all about development at the Junior football club and so it is great that these boys are getting that."

Skegness Town Reds won all their league games 5-0, 2-1, 3-0, 4-0, 6-0, 1-0, topping the group and going on to WIN the Semi-final 3-1, and then the FINAL 1-0.

Skegness Whites had a bit of a tougher run winning, 2-0, 1-0, 3-0, and then drew 0-0, 0-0, 0-0, and lost 1-0, but still topped the group. Going on to the Semi-finals, winning 2-1 and the FINAL 1-0.
